Zaid Naman was an early member of the MB's Shurah Council and the “Masul” (Leader) of the MB's Executive Office in the US. He delivered this speech in early-1980's to a group of Muslim Brothers in the US. A recording of was discovered in a 2004 FBI raid of the Annandale, Virginia residence of MB/Hamas official Ismail Elbarasse -- where an archives of internal MB documents were found.

The Explanatory Memorandum was written by Mohamed Akram AKA Mohamed Adlouni, a member of the Shura Council of the MB. It was discovered in the same 2004 FBI raid on the house of Elbarasse.
